I received an email from my mom asking me if I had any opinion on E-readers. This, of course, immediately sent me into a full-on panic attack.
Cold sweat dripping from my brow I replied that indeed I have an opinion and that I really liked the iPad for reading.
5 seconds later, as I was silently chastising myself for replying in the affirmative, I received another reply asking if “the iPad could do phone?” and “imagine what it would be like to have all of the email and books and phone in one device!”
Yes – ITS THE IPHONE!
This leads me to believe that what parents need is for Apple to come up with a new product: the iScroll.
Basically it’s a 20 square-foot iPad that you can roll up like Christmas wrapping paper and don’t need bifocals to read.
Plus it can double as a cane or leg of a walker.
If my mom buys an iPad, my life is over.
Business Case

Working in an office like I do everything is driven by the business case. If there isn’t a business case to support an idea, its obviously retarded and beneath everyone and this entire organization.
Business cases are like heroin to these people. Anyone that is a “professional” loves that shit.
They bathe in that shit
They work out on a bowflex to that shit
They wax their gold 1992 honda accord with that shit
They use that shit as a yoga mat
They do a high-dive reverse double somersault into piles of that shit
That shit is their fucking life coach
They sell that shit for 220% mark-up at an organic fruit stand
They use that shit to level their TV stands
